Toddler&Pre-K: Dancing Salt

托小班：会舞蹈的盐

看不见、摸不到的声音长的什么样，它怎样传递到我们的耳朵里被我们闻声的？响的声音和轻的声音有什么分歧呢？我们只需要预备一个杯子、一张保鲜膜和一些盐便可以发现声波，以及声音传布的奥秘。

What is this voice we have that cannot be seen or touched, and how does it get into our ears and heard by us? What is the difference between a loud voice and a soft one? We only need to prepare a cup, a piece of plastic wrap and some salt to discover the mystery of sound waves and the transmission of sound.

步调 Steps

1.将保鲜膜覆盖在杯口，留意一定要将保鲜膜拉平，杯口绷紧。

Cover the surface of a cup with plastic wrap. Make sure the plastic wrap is smooth and tightly fitted around the rim.

2.将少许的盐撒在保鲜膜上。

Sprinkle a small amount of salt on the plastic wrap.

3.对着杯口纵情的叫嚷吧！

Shout at the cup and see what happens!

小贴士

1、声音越大，食盐跳动的越欢。

The louder the noise, the more the salt moves.

2、除了食盐，只如果细小的物体都可以拿来尝试。

Try replacing the salt with other small items to see how they react.




K1: Are Your Hands Clean?

中班：你的小手清洁吗？

打败病毒的方式之一就是要勤洗手，养成杰出的卫生习惯。小朋友们，明天你有认真洗手吗？假如我们没有把小手洗清洁会发生什么工作呢？快去找5片小面包、5个密封袋和5张标签，让我们一路做个简单的考试小游戏吧！

One way to beat the virus is to wash your hands frequently and develop good healthy habits. Have you washed your hands carefully today? What would have happened if we hadn't washed our little hands well? Get 5 slices of bread, 5 airtight sandwich bags and 5 labels. Let's do an experiment together!

步调 Steps

1. 把标签别离贴在密封袋上。（电子产物擦拭、清洁/未触碰、脏手、用番笕洗过的手、用含有消毒剂成份的洗手液洗过的手）

Label each of the 5 bags. (Wiped on laptop/ipad/phone, Fresh/untouched, Dirty hands, Hands washed with soap and water, Hands washed with hand sanitizer)

2. 第一块面包需要擦拭一下电子产物；第二块连结清洁状态；第三块面包用脏手抚摩；第四块面包用番笕和清水洗过的手抚摩；第五块面包用含有消毒液成份的洗手液洗过的手抚摩，并装进对应的密封袋。

First wipe a piece of bread on your electronic product and put it in the airtight bag. The next slice should be kept fresh and untouched, place it directly into the airtight bag. Touch the third slice of bread with dirty hands and then continue on, so each of the slices has been prepared accordingly, and placed in the corresponding bag.

3. 在接下来的几天里，请仔细观察面包。看看它们都有什么变化？

In the next few days, pay close attention to the bread. What happens to them?

You can record your observations in the form of photos or drawings.

K2 : Lava Lamp

买办 :熔岩灯

当水碰到油，它们会夹杂在一路吗？假如我们再加入一颗泡腾片，又会发生什么奇异的变化呢？让我们带着这些题目，一路来揭开熔岩灯的奥秘。

When water and oil meet, do they mix together? If we add an effervescent tablet, what magical changes will take place? With these questions, let's uncover the secrets of lava lamps.













步调 Steps

1. 在玻璃杯中倒入一半的水；并加入自己喜好的色彩的色素。

Get a tall glass and fill it half full of water. Add some food colouring of your favorite colour.

2. 在玻璃杯中倒入适当的食用油。

Pour some cooking oil into the glass.

3. 把泡腾片放入杯中。

Drop an effervescent tablet into the cup.

4. 关灯，在黑暗的房间里将手电筒翻开，放在杯子的下面大概上面。看看会发生什么？

Turn off the lights, turn on the flashlight in the dark room, and place it under or over the cup. What do you see?

小贴士

1. 假如家里没有色素，可以用颜料替换。

If you don't have food colouring in your home,

you can use some paint instead.

2. 可以用其他通明的容器替换玻璃杯。

You can also use any type of transparent container

to replace the tall glass.
